It’s a trick

Progress, progress. One night only! 13th annual store closing sale–everything must go! Welding, welding, welding!

Huh? How’d I get that done?

Just as the marketing hype can draw in the unwary, it’s great how it’s possible to trick oneself into getting something done. As regular or even casual visitors to this site can easily tell, I’ve been…*ahem*…a little slack lately. However, I’ve found that by taking lessons on an instrument I’m incompetent on in a style I know nothing about, I’ve tricked myself into writing again. Further, in the process of learning tunes to play with Wildman Ben and Teevus this weekend, I’ve started recording again.

Funny how that works. Anyway, I’ll put up a new tune this evening–the version of “Newry Highwayman” that Tym…, er, Teevus and I did earlier this year; next, you’ll be hearing a new tune, “Lame Excuse.” Naturally, though, it’s not done yet.

In the meantime, check out this dude.
